Step 1. Visit the XAT Official Website. 
The XAT official website is xatonline. In. This website has a XAT application form for filling in complete details. You can also upload all documents required and make a payment. 

Step 2: Register for XAT 2026 Exam 
Once you are on the XAT website, register yourself with your contact details like your name, email id, and phone number. Read instructions and images below for step-by-step guidance.

Step 2.1 
Enter the required information like your name, email id, phone number and password in the XAT registration form. After submitting these details, you will get a message from XAT at your registered email address. Open your mail box and verify the link. Immediately after the verification, you will get the XAT Id and password. 

Step 2.2
Now, you have two options to fill your XAT application: Either log in tothe  XAT application page directly from the verification link in your email, or log in later with your XAT ID and password to fill your XAT application.m

Step 3: Fill Personal Details 
Next,xt you need to submit your personal details, your parents’ details and your address. Personal details required include your blood group, parent details, and address, among others. 

Step 4: Fill in Your Academics 
On this XAT registration page,e you are required to fill in the academic details of yourself from class 10 onwards, including professional qualifications. 

Step 5: Fill in your Work Experience and Selected Program Details
On this page, you need to fill inthe  following three items of information carefully:

• Your Work Experience, beginning withthe  latest work experience
• If you want to apply for the XLRI Programme, fill in the choice of programmes you wish to apply for.
• You can choose one or more programmes offered by XLRI. Note that athe pplication fee is Rs. 200 for each XLRI programme.  
• You can choose 2 preferred test cities to appear in the XAT exam.

Step 6: Upload Photo, Signature, Documents
Next, you need to upload your photo, signature and identity proof. The photo that you upload should be the latest one, as it will be matched at the time of the entrance exam.

Step 7: Submit Declaration
Next, you need to confirm that whatever you have stated in the application form is true and correct. So, it is better to preview the application form before confirming. 

Step 8: Pay XAT Fees 
This is the final step. XAT form fees are Rs. 2200. If you apply for the XLRI program, an additional fee of Rs 200 per XLRI programme will be charged.

The payment can be made by using Debit Cards, Credit Cards. Once you ‘Make Payment’, you will get confirmation for successful submission. Congratulations, your XAT registration 2026 is complete. Save the confirmation message and take a print of your registration summary for future reference. 

Remember that there is no time-bound process to complete the exam registration and application form for 2026. They can be completed in one go or on different days before the XAT 2026 registration last date.
