XAT Answer Key: Key Highlights
- XAT 2025 Answer key is released only for three sections, which have negative marking – namely, Verbal & Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation
- Since XAT 2025 is a single-session exam, it is easy for XLRI to publish the XAT answer keys 2025 for all the XAT questions, as opposed to other exams, which are held in multiple sessions over multiple days.
- As the GK section is not counted for percentile calculation, XLRI does not release the answer keys for GK questions in the XAT exam

Each correct answer in XAT 2025 carries +1 mark, and each wrong answer will impose a negative penalty of -0.25 mark. XAT Solutions 2025 by XLRI is released in Pdf format. You can download the XAT answer key Pdf for the three sections only for which the XAT Answer key is released. XAT Answer Key PDF consists of the XAT answer keys for the questions in those sections, which are counted for percentile calculation. XAT is now a computer-based online test and is divided into Part 1 and Part 2, with 95 questions in MCQ format. While the XAT answer keys for 3 sections with 75 questions in Part-1 will help in assessing the score and percentile in the XAT 2025 exam, the XAT answer keys for the GK section serve no such purpose and therefore are not required as the score of Gthe K section is not taken into account to prepare the percentile in the XAT exam.

XAT previous year answer key and Release Format
XAT answer keys, which were released for the first time in 2015, had 84 answers. Total questions in XAT at that timewase 114. There were 4 question paper sets titled A, B, C, D in XAT, and XLRI had also released a separate document which contained only answer keys with respect to each set of XAT questions, as well as all 4 sets of question papers with solutions. Earlier, when XAT used to be paper based test, candidates were allowed to take the question booklet with them. Accordingly, XAT answer keys helped them to assess their position very well and could judge the scores they would be going to get based on the accuracy of the answered questions. The detailed XAT solutions with explanations also helped the test takers in ascertaining their chances to be shortlisted by XLRI or other top-rated B schools and also provided them guidance for the future. However, with the computerised XAT exam now, XLRI releases the XAT Question Papers with solutions pdf as only XAT answer keys may not suffice.
