KIIT School of Management (KSOM) Bhubaneswar with 30+ years of excellence, is one of India’s premier B-schools and is consistently ranked as one of the best B-schools of Eastern India, year after year. One of the oldest private B-schools in the country with a glorious past, many of KSOM students are heading the companies; are well known Entrepreneurs; or they occupy senior management positions in various organizations.
KSOM is an integral part of KIIT University which is Ranked 16th in NIRF, Govt. of India, 2023 University Ranking. As a B-school, KSOM is ranked 59th in NIRF Ranking Management 2023. KSOM is ranked as Best Business School of Odisha, Times Business Awards 2020; Ranked 2nd Best in India for BBA program – Times B School Ranking 2021. KSOM faculty is drawn from industry or are Ph.D. Over half the faculty are drawn from institutions such as IIMs, IITs, TISS, MDI, XLRI and other premier institutes. KSOM has a record of achieving good placements every year. All eligible students with acceptable CGPA secure a placement. Average placement over the last couple of years has been 100%. In its final placements 2024, KSOM achieved highest international salary of Rs.18.33 LPA and highest domestic salary of Rs.14 LPA. The average salary for the 2022-24 batch was Rs.9.5 LPA. 140+ recruiters visit the campus for hiring every year. Spread over an area of 35 acres, the KSOM houses more than 1000 students across three courses MBA/Super MBA, BBA and Doctoral program in Management. For admission to its MBA program, KSOM conducts own MBA entrance exam – KIITEE Management and also accepts score of CAT/XAT/ CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT exams.

Admissions
Following steps are included in the KSOM MBA Admission process:
Step-1: Apply and appear in KIITEE Management (No Need to Apply separately for KSOM MBA Admission)
Step-2: Apply and appear in CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT after publication of result and Apply separately to KSOM MBA Admission
Step-3: KSOM Bhubaneswar Shortlists for final selection GDPI round
Step-4: Participate in final Admission Process of KIIT School of Management comprising GD-PI
Step-5: The final merit list will be generated on the basis of Entrance exam score, performance in GD-PI, written test of English, past academic record, work experience and other parameters.
Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection through admission offer letter containing the terms and conditions of the admission.
How to Apply
KIIT University has given two options before the applicants to apply for KSOM MBA Admission:
- Option 1: Apply with KIITEE Management Exam for KSOM MBA Admission
- Option 2: Apply with National Tests for KSOM MBA Admission after publication of result. Applicant has to register for and appear in KIITEE Management or the relevant CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT
- If Applying with National Test Score, pay application fee of Rs.1500/- online. If applying with KIITEE Management the application fee Rs.1500/- for the entrance exam includes the KSOM MBA Admission application fee.

Infrastructure
KSOM Bhubaneswar has world-class lush green fully WIFI campus spread over an area of 35 acres. KSOM has four storied Library building with 21000 books and a cache of national and international journals, magazines, books and newspapers. The library has been automated using LS Primea (LibSys ) and the resources can be search by online catalogue (webopac). Collection is barcoded.
KSOM has spacious500 seater Auditorium for industry talks, student functions, lectures and movie screening and a well-equipped dedicated computer lab with all requisite software pre-installed. KSOM has one 120-seater Gallery for seminar talks, smaller events and three 120-seater Gallery for seminar talks, guest lectures, small conferences and conventions.
KSOM has 19 air conditioned classrooms with multimedia system and wifi connection. KSOM Hostel blocks have separate boys and girls’ hostels across all programs for all students. Gyms, Swimming Pools, Tennis and Volleyball Courts, Hospital, Large Playgrounds are available as part of the University. Compared to many other private Management Institutions, KSOM has far better infrastructure in every aspect.
