The salary data for placement 2024 which was completed in February 2024, would be released in October 2024.

2 Years PGP leading to MBA Degree: The Postgraduate Programme (PGP) at IIMA, which leads to a Master’s degree in Business Administration, is IIMA’s flagship programme since inception. It is among the top-ranked programmes in the world for many years. This two-year programme has created business leaders, outstanding managers, and a number of significant entrepreneurs. The program offers wide range of specializations in Marketing, HR, Operations, Strategy, IT, Economics among others. The admission to IIM Ahmedabad MBA programme is through Common Admission Test (CAT). IIM Ahmedabad also gives substantial weightage to Academics, Diversity and Work experience in its MBA admission process.
2 Years PGP-FABM leading to MBA-FABM: The 2 year Post Graduate Programme in Food & Agri-Business Management (PGP- FABM) leading to MBA degree is meant for fresh graduates as well as for graduates with work experience. The scope of this 2 year full time management program with specialization in agriculture has expanded beyond agriculture to include allied areas like food processing, marketing and rural infrastructure management. With a curriculum focused on providing familiarity with India’s agriculture and food policy to understanding the complexities of agriculture finance, food marketing and commodities markets, PGP-FABM prepares aspiring managers in skills that go beyond general management. The programme alumni occupy leadership positions in organizations ranging from development institutions to food companies. Admission to MBA-FABM is offered through CAT exam score. A candidate with Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in agricultural sciences or agriculture-related disciplines, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA is eligible for admission. A candidate with graduation in Non-Agriculture area but with interest in Food, Agriculture and other allied activities can also apply.
1 Year MBA PGPX: IIM Ahmedabad offers one year full time MBA-PGPX program with higher rigour than the 2 year full time programs. IIM Ahmedabad PGPX has served as a transformative journey for high-calibre, aspirational and industrious working professionals to meet their goals of becoming global leaders. Diversity has been one of the defining cornerstones for the PGPX programme. The IIMA PGPX is an intensive one-year MBA program programme designed to fulfill the unmet need of experienced managers, enhance their skills and capabilities essential for responsible positions at managerial levels. The objective of IIMA PGPX is to produce future leaders who can handle the dynamic corporate environment. A candidate with Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline with minimum 15 years of study, with Minimum Age of 25 years, with a valid GMAT/GRE score and minimum 4 years of full time work experience after completion of graduation is eligible for admission

Admission/Selection Process for Candidates for PGP at IIMA is through CAT. The selection of the candidates for admission to the PGP at IIMA is a two-step process.
In the first step, candidates are short-listed for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. Detailed Admission process is as below:

After the AWT & PI round, admission offers are made by IIMA to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in AWT & PI, academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, work experience among others
Admission offer letter would be sent to all successful candidates. Candidates, who are offered admission, need to confirm their acceptance by completing all the required formalities by the stipulated date.
How to Apply
Register and apply for CAT exam by paying the requisite application fee for the exam. On the page 4 of CAT application form, you need to select IIM Ahmedabad PGP and other programs and select the interview city. Your application for IIM Ahmedabad admission is submitted. You do not need to apply and pay separately for IIM Ahmedabad Admission. After declaration of CAT exam result, you can check at IIM Ahmedabad website whether you are shortlisted by entering your CAT registration ID and password
