IIEBM IBS Pune was established in the year 2000 by Col. Vinod Marwaha & Shrimant Vijay Sinha Naik Nimbalkar (popularly known as Shivajiraje), a scion of the Royal Family of Phaltan, District Satara, along with Senior Officers of the Indian Armed Forces.

With a legacy of 25 years in Management Education, IIEBM continues to groom future leaders using time-tested Armed Forces Ethos, Values and Management Techniques where focus is on Discipline, Decorum, Integrity, Camaraderie and most importantly Nationalism.

IIEBM’s Educational roots trace back to the Parent Educational Trust, founded by Shivajiraje, which has been active in the Education Sector since the year 1951. The foundation was laid even earlier, in the year 1893, when His Highness Shrimant Mudhojirao Naik Nimbalkar, Ruler of Phaltan State, established the first school in the region.

Col. Marwaha, an Alumnus of the National Defence Academy (38th Course) and Indian Military Academy (47th Course), was among the youngest Officers to serve in the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, a cohort fondly known as the “Born to Battle” Course. As Founder President & Managing Trustee, he infused IIEBM with the same spirit, ensuring Students graduate “Battle-Ready for the Corporate Battlefield.”

Today, the Parent Trust runs CBSE affiliated Schools and Colleges in Commerce, Science, Agriculture, Pharmacy and Engineering in Phaltan, continuing their enduring commitment to quality Education and regional development.
