NTA has released the CMAT 2024 result on June 6, 2024, at 5 PM for shift-1 and shift-2 exams. You can download your scorecard now from the official CMAT 2024 exam website https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/ with your login credentials. Most of the CMAT score-accepting colleges are keeping their admission 2024 open.
How to download the CMAT 2024 Result? Step-by-Step Process
With the release of the CMAT results, the CMAT Result 2024 Download Links are activated atthe official CMAT exam website. You need to log in and download your CMAT score card in the following steps:
- Step 1: Go to the official website, i.e. https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/
- Step 2: Click on the result link on the homepage
- Step 3: A new page will open
- Step 4: Enter application number, date of birth and security code
- Step 5: Your score will be displayed
- Step 6: Download and Take a Print
CMAT 2024 Merit List: Includes All Test Takers
NTA will announce the CMAT 2024 Merit List for all the candidates who have appeared in the exam. The Merit list is based on the scores obtained by the candidates in computer based Common Management Admission Test CMAT-2024. A national merit ranking is arrived at based on the Total Score, giving weightage tothe sectional score also. Accordingly, a candidate with equal sectional scores as per the difficulty level in the CMAT exam may get a higher percentile and thereby a higher rank in the merit list. The CMAT merit list indicates Roll number, Rank and the Score of all the candidates. The CMAT-2024 score is valid for the MBA admission 2024.
1 CMAT 2024 Score Card: Percentile calculation formula
Percentile is calculated using the formula:
Percentile P = ( (N – your rank) / N ) × 100 (Where P is the percentile and N is the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam).
Order of Merit in CMAT 2024: In Case of Equal Total Scores
In case scores are the same for more than one candidate in the CMAT 2024 result, the ranking is done on sectional score, considered in the order of:
- Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
- Logical Reasoning
- Language Comprehension
- General Awareness
- Innovation & Entrepreneurship
- If more than one candidate securesthe same ranking going by the above process, the same Rank is assigned to all of them, but is displayed by sorting their names alphabetically.
The Rank of the subsequent candidate is then extended by the number of additional students having the same Rank. For example, if 3 students are at 25th rank, then the subsequent student will be ranked as 28th
CMAT Result: Previous Year’s Date & Trends
CMAT result, the previous year’s Date & Trends reflect that the CMAT result is released after 15 to 20 days from the exam date. While CMAT Score Card 2023 and CMAT Score Card 2022 had different components, it is expected that NTA will keep the CMAT Raw score, percentile score and All India Rank of the candidate in the CMAT 2024 score card. Rechecking & Revaluation of CMAT 2024 Scorecard after CMAT Result
If not satisfied with your CMAT scores, you cannot get your CMAT score card 2024 re-evaluated after the CMAT Result Date 2024. NTA has clarified that there will be no rechecking or revaluation facility of scores available for the CMAT 2024 scores after the declaration of the result. NTA provides the facility to challenge the official CMAT answer key to all the test takers before the declaration of the CMAT result. Please note that the CMAT exam is now conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and not by AICTE. Key Points regarding CMAT 2024 scorecard rechecking and revaluation, as shared by NTA, are detailed below.
- CMAT result 2024 is compiled based on the final CMAT answer keys
- No grievance about the answer key & score after the declaration of the CMAT 2024 result is entertained
- The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate in CMAT 2024 are considered further for the computation of the result
- NTA releases the CMAT result along with your CMAT Score card
- No CMAT score card is dispatched to the candidates. The candidates should download their score cards from the website cmat.nta.nic.in only.
- There is no provision for revaluation/re-checking of the CMAT Score
- A National Merit Ranking (All India Rank) is arrived at based on the Score secured against the total score
- The complete national merit list for the candidates who have appeared in the CMAT 2024 exam will be released
- All the CMAT test takers are ranked in the CMAT 2024 merit list as per the scores and percentile they have secured in the exam

CMAT 2024 Scoring Pattern
The Scores obtained in CMAT are calculated by assigning:
- The maximum total marks are 400 for 100 questions
- +4 marks awarded for each correct answer
- -1 mark penalty for each wrong answer
- 0 mark for no answer
CMAT Result Release: Previous Trends
Last year CMAT 2023 result was released for 58035 candidates, and the CMAT 2022 result was released for 51144 test takers with raw score and percentile. The CMAT 2022 score card did not display the CMAT percentile; only the overall and sectional CMAT scores with all India rank were available. Leading MBA colleges accepting CMAT scores had to revise their cut-offs based on the ranks and scores. For example, the candidates who had scored from 330 to 345 were inthe top 100 ranks. The candidate with 335 marks in CMAT 2022 had secured 58-59th All India Rank. The CMAT result declaration trends during previous years reflect that the CMAT result will be on time, as it was in previous years. The participating institutes of CMAT-2024 are the institutions offering AICTE-approved MBA/PGDM programmes and will be accepting the CMAT Score. Candidates must apply separately to the desired CMAT 2024 participating institutes with the CMAT Score 2024. Then, each participating institute will release its respective cut-off CMAT Score, which candidates should meet to get qualified for admission to that particular institute.
