Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program Highlights
MBA at Nirma University Ahmedabad is a two-year residential programme following a trimester system. The first year primarily consists of core courses and the second year consists of elective courses. The programme offers dual specialization (major and minor) in the second year. Students will be awarded Master’s degree on successful completion of the programme.

Computing Labs
Computing facilities for the students include a well-equipped lab. A state-of-the-art gigabit network connects every corner of the institute. Every student and faculty member has a networked laptop computer. High-speed servers run on a variety of platforms to suit all kinds of requirements and support the entire network. The Institute has also acquired the latest software, namely SPSS v23, the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite, among others.
Library Resource Centre (LRC)
The library provides access to a wide range of management and business information sources that include leading National and International Business Periodicals, in addition to an impressive collection of Business Databases, Digitized Corporate Annual Reports, and CDs / DVDs. The library has over 44,000 books, including 77557 E-books from JSTOR & Springer.
The library subscribes to 14 databases and around 10826 E-journals through databases such as EBSCOs- Business Source Ultimate, JSTOR, Elsevier’s ScienceDirect- Business Management & Accounting Package and Sage Journals Collection. The library subscribes to ISI Emerging Markets Database which provides trade-related information from all over the world. The financial and economic databases subscribed to by the library are ACE Equity, ACE Mutual Funds, and CMIE’s ProwessIQ. Bloomberg Terminal enables professionals in the financial service sector to access Bloomberg Professional. The library is fully automated and accessible on the campus LAN and operates on specialized library software, open-source software KOHA.
Hostels
The Institute has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are four hostel buildings located on the campus. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The hostels have sports and other recreational facilities such as cable TV, a common room for interaction, etc. All hostel rooms have Internet connectivity round the clock.
CCTV System
The university has installed a CCTV subservience Monitoring System in all the academic areas of the university covering the areas such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, studios, and reading rooms. The other areas under surveillance include common places viz. building entrances, corridors, parking, canteens, etc. The cameras are closely monitored at an appropriate level by the University authorities.
