SPJIMR courses include a broad spectrum of programmes and courses for post graduate students, working executives, entrepreneurs, and doctoral program. SPJIMR offers following two-year full-time MBA equivalent PGDM Programs designed for candidates with 0–5 years of work experience.

SPJIMR Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM): 18-month AICTE-approved General Management programme, ideal for experienced executives with over three years of work experience.
SPJIMR Global Management Programme (GMP): Designed for students aiming to pursue a master’s abroad, with two intakes each year in January and June. Participants complete six months at SPJIMR before transferring credits to international partner schools.
SPJIMR also offers Part Time, Modular and Online Executive MBA equivalent courses. It also offers Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) program that is equivalent to PhD program.
Admissions
SPJIMR Mumbai PGDM Admission Process is designed to attract the best talent. SPJIMR selection process assesses not only intellectual readiness in terms of academics but also considers emotional readiness, work experience, extra-curricular activities and aptitude that are aligned with the Institute’s mission. SPJIMR PGDM admission process can be divided into following stages:
Take CAT Exam: The candidates seeking admission to SPJIMR PGDM programme must appear in CAT exam.
Apply to SPJIMR: Then, candidate should apply separately for SPJIMR admission. SPJIMR application process is open till Friday, November 28, 2025.
Shortlisting Round: SPJIMR follows unique shortlisting process. The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their profiles and they are also expected to meet the qualifying scores in the entrance exam. The profiles are scored and the applicants are sorted into two groups: Profile based and Profile-cum-score based. SPJIMR Mumbai gives higher emphasis on other quality parameters in its admission process than merely on entrance exam scores. The shortlist will be based on Consistency of academic record; Relevance of work experience for the chosen specialization; Versatility and achievements.
Personal Interview Round: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interviews at different centre in India.
Final Selection: The final selection of the candidates will be based on weightages of CAT scores, PI, Academic merit, diversity, experience, and other parameters given in the Table below.
SPJIMR Mumbai PGDM How to Apply
The step-by-step process to fill SPJIMR PGDM application form is as below:
Step 1 – Register on SPJIMR Website: Visit SPJIMR Mumbai Admission 2026 website. Fill up the basic details like your name and contact details and click on ‘Register.’ You will get a verification mail which you need to verify. On completion of this step, the SPJIMR Mumbai Application Form 2026 will open for submission.
Step 2 – Application Form Filling: After registration and verification, you will get the Page which is duly updated with your action and submission. You need to click on Apply Now on this page to proceed further
Step 3 – Choose the Program: You need to choose the program that you are applying for. If you are applying for more than one program, enter the names of the programs chosen by you along with specialization opted. SPJIMR asks for your choice of preferred specializations at the application stage. Click on Save and next to proceed further.
Step 4 – Enter Personal Details & Upload Photograph: On the next page, you need to enter all your personal details like name, date of birth, age, mobile number, address and have to upload the photograph of requisite size.
Step 5 – Enter Academic Details: Now fill in your academic details from class 10 onwards. Keep all the relevant documents like Marks sheet, certificates, degrees etc ready to complete this page.
Step 6 — Academic Achievements: Enter your academic achievements and awards. You can enter maximum 3 achievements.
Step 7 — Fill in CAT/GMAT Details: Select the exam you have taken or are taking. If you have the exam score with you should enter it, if not, you will be allowed to update it after the exam.
Step 8 – Enter Your Family Details: Submit your family details including Father’s and Mother’s details, contact details, family annual income
Step 9 — State Specific Distinctiveness, Medical History: This page is very important as here you need to write the things about yourself. Also, you need to fill in your medical history
Step 10 – Upload Documents: Now upload your mark sheets/certificates/degrees from class 10 onwards. Also, you need to upload your Work Experience documents, if you have work experience.
Step 11 – Declaration: You need to declare that all the information that you have filled in the application form is correct.
Step 12 — Make Fees Payment: The SPJIMR Mumbai application fees is Rs. 2,000 for applying to either PGDM or PGDM (BM) and Rs. 3,000 for both programs. Once you make the fees payment online, your SPJIMR application process is complete.
Selection Process
SPJIMR shortlists applicants based on their profiles. Candidates are also expected to meet the qualifying scores in at least one of the entrance exams. The profiles are scored and the applicants are sorted into two groups:
Profile based (Phase 1) and Profile-cum-score based (Phase 2).
Shortlists 1: Profile Based Interviews
SPJIMR shortlisting is based on an applicant’s profile considering the following factors:
- Consistency of academic record
- Relevance of work experience for the specialization chosen
- Versatility and achievements
Meeting the minimum eligibility cutoff in the entrance exam is mandatory in case of a profile based shortlist to appear for the interview.
Shortlists 2: Second Phase Shortlists for Interviews
This phase is held after the availability of CAT test scores. Applicants in this phase are called for interviews on the basis of their profile as given above, along with their performance in the entrance tests.
Final Selection List
The selection list is based on a composite score, which takes into account the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores (CAT/GMAT), relevance of work experience (if any) and performance in the two rounds of group interviews.
